Tips for a Good Night Sleep

Aspiring to have a good night’s sleep is what everyone wants and more often, hard to achieve, but there are ways to work around it. Today I will be sharing my tips on how to achieve a good night sleep with Casper mattress.

It is now back to school and back to work period, a time where there suddenly is heavy traffic to get to work and everything becomes super busy again. Thankfully, I am no longer in school but I still have to make sure I go to bed on time that way I’m well rested for my busy day ahead. I received my Casper mattress a few months ago, and I’m very pleased that I got the chance to try this comfy foamy mattress.

First off, it doesn’t contain any springs in it which is what caught my attention. The mattress that I was previously using, was nothing like Casper…I had to buy a separate memory foam and add that on top of my mattress in order for me to feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. I no longer have to do that anymore thanks to Casper, a 4 layer foam mattress!

Aside from having a comfy mattress, I’ve learned a few tricks in order to get a good night sleep. My first tip is to get yourself some lavender oil. I visited so many lavender farms this summer, I’m a huge lavender lover and the best part, is that it’s such a relaxing flower! Lavender takes the stress away, just dab a few drops onto your pillow or the palms of your hands and voila! This is like a spa treatment and instantly relaxes you as you inhale the scent. If you don’t like oils, then you can purchase little lavender flower buds that come in a tiny pouch and insert that under your pillow or somewhere close by your bedside. My second tip, don’t drink caffeine before going to sleep. Most people have a hard time falling asleep after having a cup of coffee or a bunch of sugar right before bed. If anything, have a nice hot cup of caffeine free tea and you’ll set the bedtime mood. My third tip, if your muscles are aching and you’ve had a long stressful day at work or school, take a magnesium vitamin supplement. I take one when I’m feeling tense and stressed out, it really helps to relax my muscles and gives me a better sleep when taking it before bed. My fourth tip, stay away from all electronics right before bed, the bright screen tricks your body into staying up rather than telling it to get ready for bed. I like to turn my phone facing downward when I go to sleep, this way, I don’t see any lights popping up from my notifications and it won’t interrupt my sleep. My last tip, is to take a nice relaxing bath before bed. I love bath bombs, and what better way to use them right before bed. It’s so soothing and relaxing, I’m obsessed with taking baths now, it really relaxes me.
