Fall Coat Season

It’s coat season!!! This makes me really happy because I love coats so much, especially this one from Aritzia- or should I say ALL the ones from Aritzia’s fall collection are to die for.
Today’s look is pretty minimal and basic. Just a white tee, dark denim and sneakers.

The Sweater Dress

Neutral Tones

Today is the first day of Fall! I’m kind of excited because I love fall fashion. It’s fashion’s favourite season. I can’t wait to take more pictures for the blog in the fall. Today also celebrates the first year of Tanya-Kay.com, I can’t believe it’s already been 1 year since I’ve created my blog. It started off as a hobby and still is however, I’m a bit more involved with it now due to numerous events, collaborations and such. I have made great blogger friends throughout the year as well. It’s been such a great experience thus far.

Summer Vibes

Happy hump day! So glad it’s the middle of the week, 2 more days until Friday and we are doneee. Life has been pretty hectic lately but it’s always good to keep busy.
Today’s outfit post is a summer one (obviously). My photographer Andree-Anne and I went to shoot all while grabbing a popsicle at Pops-Art 😛
They have a wide selection of cool flavours and they’re all naturally made with no extra sugar added…not even water.

These colourful doors we’re painted by the owner, they were so much fun to shoot with. It was a hot one that day so I wrapped my jacket around my waist. I paired my Aritzia T-shirt dress with my white-on-white Nike Air Max Thea’s. I love that dress for this reason, you can literally pair it with any type of shoes and it will give you a different look each time.

One of my favourite purchases in LA is my Samudra pouch. I had been wanting one for a while but no one carries them here in Canada so when I spotted them at Fred Segal, I had to buy one! They make several designs for these bags all while keeping that Hawaiian beach print as their theme. I choose the sunset of Haleiwa because of the beautiful pastel colour combination (and of course, the palm trees!!!)

My watermelon + Mint popsicle. It was so refreshing and tasted like the perfect summer cocktail.

Minimalistic

Good Morning! Trying to get a last shot for the blog before my trip to California on Friday – I’m soooo excited, I can’t wait to be reunited with my fam jam.
Ok, so culottes have been all the rage this season! They are extremely comfortable and can be paired with just about anything from flats, sneakers to heels. I always love getting pieces that can be worn multiple ways. These ones are from Aritzia (my latest obsession!)

I PAIRED THIS LOOK WITH MY TOPSHOP LEATHER BIKER JACKET, POINTED TOE HEELS AND WHITE TANK FOR A SEMI-DRESSY LOOK
Now it’s off to start packing for me – I’m always last minute when it comes to packing 🙂 Hugs!

The T-shirt Dress

Lately, I’ve been having an obsession with Aritzia. Everytime I walk into that store, I know that I’ll be walking out with something (guilty). I stumbled upon this T-shirt dress and knew that I had to have it. It’s simple, minimal and comfortable; Perfect for summer. I love wearing this with sandals or sneakers, even with these Adidas pool slides- gives it that beachy look. My photographer, Ver and I went to shoot at our favourite fountain in St-Joseph’s Oratory and to our surprise, they haven’t opened up the fountain yet. We climbed into the empty fountain and shot pictures from there, they came out really nice considering that it was waterless 😛
I also got a spray tan by B.A.R.E Tans done by Lulu Leah from Montreal. I was always  skeptical about getting spray tanned because I would hate to turn out orange but she assured me that she only uses Australian brands which don’t make you orange. After she sprayed me, I fell in love! I looked like I had just arrived back from a vacation down south. I never knew spray tans could look so natural. I was very impressed!
MY NEW FAVOURITE POOL SLIDES FOR THE SUMMER BY ADIDAS
I WOULD HAVE OPTED FOR BLACK BUT CONSIDERING I HAD TOO MANY BLACK SHOES, I WENT FOR THE WHITE ONES.

Now it’s off to dinner for me at this new Mexican restaurant called Escondite 🙂
Hugs!
